About us

It was in 2019 that we asked ourselves the following question: How can we combine quality and sustainability?

So we launched our initial concept: selecting second-hand fabrics to make scrunchies, hand-sewn in Switzerland. Omé (formerly Atelier Chouchou), once created, quickly grew in size.

After two years of operation, thanks to the experience gained and your valuable feedback, we decided to use our resources to improve our products while maintaining the original vision. This was one of the biggest challenges we faced, as we risked losing everything we had built by redesigning our product from A to Z.

Among the improvements we've made, there's one that's particularly important: Rather than settling for second-hand fabrics, we've decided to use end-of-line fabrics from haute couture houses. Indeed, each year, "deadstock" fabrics represent a huge portion of the pollution emitted on Earth.

In this way, we save fabrics of exceptional quality, destined to be thrown away, to make creations of which we are proud.

Since then, our range has diversified, incorporating other hair accessories (acetate clips made in France, headbands, etc.), but the promise remains: quality, durability, elegance. We have also taken the risk of making changes again, moving from the favorite workshop to Omé.

We firmly believe that the only way to offer a compelling alternative to the fast-fashion giants is to go against what they do.

We prioritize lasting quality because we want to establish human and trusting relationships with you.

Thank you so much for your support since our beginnings, you change our lives!
