Our materials and manufacturing processes are carefully considered for ethical, sustainable, and high-quality consumption. This page aims to highlight our choices so that everyone can form their own opinion.

Our materials

Deadstock fabrics

All of our fabric accessories are made from deadstock from haute couture houses that would otherwise have been discarded. Our fabrics require no new production and are among the finest on the market.

Cellulose acetate

Cellulose acetate (cotton resin), used in particular for our clips and barrettes, is a bio-sourced material, derived from plant-based materials rather than petroleum. It is also strong, durable, and healthier for the skin.

Country of manufacture

Our fabric accessories (silk pillowcases, headbands, scrunchies, etc.) are designed entirely in Switzerland by us. Each creation is born in our workshop, where we imagine, test, and adjust every detail. We insist that the know-how, attention to detail, and consistency of our approach are present at every step.

Our other accessories (clips, barrettes, brushes, etc.), designed by us in Switzerland, are designed in France, often by hand, by skilled craftsmen. Their expertise, born at the beginning of the 20th century and refined over time, is in line with our values: the pursuit of quality, respect for materials, and attention to detail.

Our packaging is all produced in Switzerland, ensuring better quality and local production.

Fabric labels bearing our logo are designed in the USA.

We are fully satisfied with the quality of the fabric elastics used to make our scrunchies. However, before adopting them, we conducted extensive research with local suppliers, without success. After consulting with various procurement professionals, it became clear that the only viable options currently lie in Asia. However, we are continuing our efforts to eventually identify production solutions closer to home that can offer the same quality.
